Welcome

Accessibility at IAFF.

We want every attendee to enjoy the festival fully. Here's our commitment — and how to reach us.

Our commitment

The Iowa African Film Festival is committed to making our screenings, workshops, panels, and the African Cultural Festival accessible to everyone, including attendees with disabilities. We choose venues and plan programming with accessibility in mind.

Venue accessibility

Full accessibility details — step-free access, accessible restrooms, seating, and parking — will be published here alongside the confirmed venue and final programme. If you have a specific need in the meantime, please get in touch so we can plan ahead with you.

Requesting accommodations

We're glad to arrange reasonable accommodations — including seating, companion access, or other support. Email info@africalivenetwork.tv as early as you can before the festival (August 6–8, 2026) so we have time to make arrangements. We'll do our best to meet your request and will confirm what's possible.

Website accessibility

We aim to keep this website usable with keyboard navigation, screen readers, and sufficient colour contrast. If you encounter a barrier on the site, let us know at info@africalivenetwork.tv and we'll work to fix it.
